About

Andrew Martin Kolstee is a business owner, writer, genealogist, and political activist. He is a website developer and graphic designer through his business, Kolstee Media. He also offers genealogical research services through his business, The Family Historian.

Andrew has been a political activist for several years. He joined the Libertarian Party in 2009, but it wasn’t until 2015 when he got more involved in political organizing and campaigning. In 2015, founded the Chautauqua County Libertarian Party and currently serves as Chair. He was the Southwestern New York Area Field Director for the Gary Johnson campaign in 2016 and the Western New York Deputy Field Director for the Larry Sharpe campaign in 2018. Since 2015, he has been an active member of the State Committee of the Libertarian Party of New York in various forms. From 2017 to 2019, he served as Communications Director and in 2020, he was elected Secretary.

Andrew is running for Congress because he believes that the two old parties have become increasingly polarized, to the point where the American people are divided more and more each day. He believes in bringing those on the left and those on the right together to build a consensus, focusing on policies that not only advance prosperity, but do so in a way that utilizes our limited resources efficiently. The government has failed to utilize resources efficiently, and its failed attempts have hurt individuals from pursuing their own prosperity.
